Papa Nui – Devotion Hat – Khaki

Papa Nui founder, John Tesoriero, was inspired to create this cap after watching the 2022 film Devotion, which tells the story of the US Navy’s first black aviator, Jesse Brown. Constructed from an era-authentic khaki twill, the design of the cap has been deliberately kept clean and free of superfluous detailing to create a genuine replica of the style worn by Ensign Brown. This design offers a deep crown with a wide 8cm squared visor, indicative of late 40s-style aviator caps.
