Papa Nui – Gunnery Range Hat – Hickory

Papa Nui’s interpretation of the WW2-era USN gunnery range hat is based on the traditional “Daisy Mae” design, constructed from a heavyweight Japanese hickory stripe fabric. Originally intended to be worn with Naval denim and dungarees, hickory stripe was utilised for its ability to disguise any dirt and grime picked up in the field, with the wide 360° brim offering a greater level of sun protection when outdoors for extended periods of time.
