Papa Nui – Z-Special Watch Cap – Black

Papa Nui’s Z-Special cap is a faithful recreation of the WW2-era cap-comforter. An ingenious but perplexing design to the uninitiated, the cap-comforter is essentially a tube of knitted wool sewn together at both ends. When folded and tucked into itself, it can be worn as a double-layered knit cap – but when completely unfurled, the cap becomes a short scarf. Whilst the originals were sometimes stamped with manufacturer or government property marks, all would have incorporated the Commonwealth Broad Arrow design as a mark of provenance, as included here for added authenticity.
